Monster Hunter Wilds: A Legacy Forged in Crossovers

Naoki Yoshida, director of Final Fantasy XIV, suggested a feature during the FFXIV crossover that found its way into Wilds: displaying attack names on-screen in real-time. This was inspired by the similar mechanic in the Behemoth fight within the World crossover. The "Jump" emote, unlocked after defeating Behemoth, further exemplifies this influence, mirroring the Dragoon's actions in FFXIV.
