Palworld Free To Play Talks Shut Down, Devs Confirm It

近日，有报道称《Palworld》开发商Pocketpair正在讨论将游戏转向免费游玩(F2P)或游戏即服务(GaaS)模式。对此，Pocketpair已正式回应，澄清了相关传闻。

Pocketpair在社交媒体平台X上发布声明，明确表示：“关于《Palworld》的未来，简而言之——我们不会改变游戏的商业模式，它将继续保持买断制，不会转向免费游玩或GaaS模式。”

该声明进一步解释了此前ASCII Japan采访中提及的各种可能性。“在那次采访中，我们仍在考虑《Palworld》的最佳发展方向，以打造一款持续发展、经久不衰的游戏，”声明写道。“我们仍在内部讨论这个问题，因为找到理想的道路非常具有挑战性，但我们已经决定，F2P/GaaS模式不适合我们。”

据报道，Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe曾在接受ASCII Japan采访时讨论了《Palworld》的未来规划，但工作室现在澄清说，该采访“是在几个月前进行的”。Mizobe在采访中表示，“当然，我们将为《Palworld》更新新内容”，承诺届时将添加更多新的Pal和突袭Boss。Pocketpair在最新的X声明中提到，他们“正在考虑未来为《Palworld》推出皮肤和DLC作为支持开发的一种方式，但我们会再次与大家讨论此事。”

此外，据报道，PS5版《Palworld》出现在即将于本月晚些时候举行的2024年东京电玩展(TGS 2024)的标题公告列表中。正如新闻网站Gematsu指出的那样，日本电脑娱乐供应商协会(CESA)发布的这份名单不应被视为“任何潜在公告的最终确定版本”。
