Days Gone Remastered: Enhanced PS5 Experience with New Modes and Features
Bend Studio's post-apocalyptic adventure, Days Gone, is getting a remastered release for the PlayStation 5, boasting a range of new features and enhancements. Announced during Sony's February 2025 State of Play, the PS5 version includes upgrades like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support and PS5 Pro optimization, but the real highlight is the addition of several exciting new game modes.
These additions include a challenging permadeath mode, a speedrun mode for competitive players, and a significantly improved photo mode. Accessibility options have also received a boost. Furthermore, a new Horde Assault arcade mode lets players confront even larger hordes of Freakers than in the original game. Deacon St. John's journey is about to get even more intense!
Days Gone Remastered launches on April 25, 2025. PS4 owners can upgrade for a reasonable $10. Watch the debut trailer below:
