InZOI Director Confirms Community Wishlist Features

Author : Samuel Apr 08,2025

This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided valuable insights into the much-anticipated features that fans have been requesting for the game. He detailed which of these features will be implemented and to what extent, giving the community a clearer picture of what to expect.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further simplified, as emphasized by Kjun. The goal is to make the process of creating zois as user-friendly as possible.

Another eagerly awaited feature is the inclusion of pets in the game. While players will indeed be able to have their own pets, this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience, but the wait will be worth it, especially since Kjun himself is a passionate animal lover.

In terms of the game's environment, InZOI will feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. Although the game engine theoretically supports higher constructions, this limitation is in place to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for all players.

The game will also introduce gas stations and fights, adding depth to the gameplay. Kjun noted that the initial slap mechanic from early previews was perceived as too shallow by players. Responding to this feedback, the developers have enhanced the combat system to include full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, promising a more engaging experience.

Lastly, InZOI will include a comprehensive tutorial, a thoughtful addition considering the developers anticipate many newcomers to the genre will be trying the game. This level of consideration certainly deserves praise and will help ensure a welcoming environment for all players.

As of now, Krafton is still on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently expected. This update from Kjun has undoubtedly heightened the anticipation and excitement among the InZOI community.
