Phantom Blade Zero, the latest entry in the Wuxia-inspired Phantom Blade ARPG series by S-Game, is reportedly targeting a Fall 2026 release, according to prominent video game content creator and YouTuber JorRaptor. In a recent video where he discussed his hands-on experience with the game, JorRaptor claimed that S-Game informed him that they are aiming for a release more than two years from now, which would put it somewhere around the fall or the end of summer next year.
While this shared information on the game's potential release window has generated buzz, it’s important to note that S-Game has not yet confirmed any official launch date or window for Phantom Blade Zero. The developer has remained tight-lipped about the timeline and other additional information regarding the game's release since it was first unveiled over a year ago.
Phantom Blade Zero is currently in development for the PS5 and PC. The game, which has been reportedly in development since 2022, has impressed fans with its action-packed gameplay and unique ancient world art style.
Demos of Phantom Blade Zero have been making rounds at various gaming events throughout the summer, including Summer Game Fest back in June and ChinaJoy in Shanghai at the end of July. S-Game has confirmed that it will be attending Gamescom, which runs from August 21-25, where they will also be conducting demo playthroughs of the game. Following Gamescom, the demo will also be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show at the end of September.
While JorRaptor’s claims may be noteworthy, it’s advisable to take this information with a grain of salt. However, with new details expected to be revealed at Gamescom later this month, more information regarding the game’s release and development progress might be announced soon.
