NetEase's post-apocalyptic shooter, Once Human, is launching its first cross-play test, offering a sneak peek at its cross-progression features before the mobile launch in April. This closed beta confirms seamless transitions between devices.
Following the recent success of Marvel Rivals, NetEase's Once Human (initially released on PC) is finally making its way to mobile. The game casts players as survivors in a supernatural apocalypse, tasked with rebuilding society and battling monstrous threats. Even fellow survivors might pose a challenge in this harsh world.
Once Human's blend of stunning visuals and intense run-and-gun horror gameplay has generated significant anticipation. While previous beta tests occurred, this cross-progression element is a key feature, likely the last chance for hands-on experience before the April launch.
More Human Than Human
The cross-play test runs until March 30th, with sign-ups still open. While Once Human might not have captured a large PC audience compared to Marvel Rivals, its stylish shooter mechanics seem perfectly suited for mobile gamers. The upcoming mobile release is excellent news for those eager to play.
