Application Description

Squares: Master the Daily Word Strand Puzzle! This addictive word puzzle challenges you to create words by connecting letters on a grid, maximizing your score.

How to Play:

Connect letters in any direction (up, down, left, right, or diagonally) to form words of at least four letters. Each tile can only be used once per word. Points are awarded for each letter in a valid word (e.g., a five-letter word earns five points). Hyphenated words, proper nouns, offensive language, and uncommon terms are not included.

Bonus Challenges:

Discover bonus words – obscure, archaic, or slang terms – that don't earn points but add an extra layer of fun. These appear in a separate list and can be hunted even after finding all the main words. Each puzzle also features a "Word of the Day," a longer, special bonus word that rewards you with two extra hints if you solve it.

Game Features:

Daily Puzzle: A new puzzle awaits each day at midnight.
Grid Rotation: Rotate the grid for a fresh perspective to uncover hidden words.
Hints: Receive a hint after finding 40% of the words: a number on each letter indicates how many words start with that letter. Orange letters are no longer used in main words but might be in bonus words. Each puzzle offers 3-5 hints; sharing the game link earns an extra hint!
Strategic Gameplay: Plan your word searches carefully to maximize points and uncover all the words.
