Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence

Rainbow Six Mobile and Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence will not be released until after Ubisoft's FY25 (likely sometime after April 2025), the company announced. This marks another delay for both highly anticipated mobile titles.

The decision to postpone the launches was made to mitigate competition within the already saturated tactical shooter market. Ubisoft aims to optimize their key performance indicators (KPIs) by avoiding a crowded release window. The games themselves are reportedly nearing completion, but the company believes a later launch will yield better results.

This delay is particularly noteworthy given the upcoming release of competing titles such as Delta Force: Hawk Ops. Ubisoft's strategy suggests a focus on maximizing market impact rather than rushing the release.

While this news will disappoint fans eagerly awaiting these mobile adaptations, pre-registration remains open for both games. In the meantime, players can explore other top mobile games of 2024 or check out the list of the year's most anticipated mobile releases.
