Just days before its November 20th launch, STALKER 2's final PC system requirements have been unveiled, highlighting the game's significant hardware demands, even at minimum settings. High-end rigs are essential for 4K gameplay and high frame rates.

The updated requirements are detailed below:

STALKER 2 PC System Requirements

While minimum specs are relatively manageable, achieving smooth 4K performance at higher settings requires a powerful system. The "epic" settings, in particular, promise to be exceptionally demanding, potentially surpassing even Crysis' notorious performance requirements. Storage needs have increased from 150GB to 160GB, with an SSD strongly recommended for optimal loading times.

Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling technologies will be included to improve visual fidelity without sacrificing performance. However, the specific FSR version remains unconfirmed.

Software ray tracing is confirmed, but hardware ray tracing, while being experimented with, is unlikely to be available at launch, according to Lead Producer Slava Lukyanenka.
