EA's highly anticipated free-to-play skateboarding game, skate. (stylized as skate.), is now accepting console playtesters! Read on to learn how you can join the fun.

Announced back in June 2020, skate. is finally opening its doors for PlayStation and Xbox playtesting. While a PC beta date remains unannounced, registering as an Insider keeps you in the loop for future updates.

The official skate. X (formerly Twitter) account reveals console playtesting has been underway since at least December, possibly even September, as evidenced by recent highlight reels. However, developer Full Circle actively encourages new sign-ups as development continues.

To participate in the beta, visit EA's official website, navigate to the skate. page, and register for the Skate Insider Playtesting program. Beyond early access to the game, Insiders will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers upon the Early Access launch.

skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025, marking a significant return for the franchise nearly a decade after Skate 3. Available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, this free-to-play, live-service title promises an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous Full Circle YouTube interview.
