Konami is working hard to get Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater released in 2025

Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.

Okamura stated that the remake is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing the details and enhancing the overall quality. While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, the game is now officially slated for 2025, according to studio sources. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura hinted at new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute video showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, an intense airdrop sequence, and a thrilling firefight.
