Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4: "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue" Arrives July 31st!

HoYoverse has unveiled the details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming Version 2.4 update, titled "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue," launching July 31st. This update is jam-packed with new content, so let's explore what awaits players.

New Locations and Characters

The Astral Express journeys to a new area: The Shackling Prison within Xianzhou Luofu. Players will also explore the workplaces of Xueyi and Hanya.

Version 2.4 introduces two new 5-star characters: Yunli (Destruction) and Jiaoqiu (Nihility). Popular characters Sparkle and Huohuo also return.

Character and Light Cone Release Schedule:

  • Phase 1 (July 31st): Yunli, Huohuo, Lynx, Yukong, and Hanya. Yunli's signature Light Cone, "Dance at Sunset," will also be available.
  • Phase 2 (August 21st): Jiaoqiu, Sparkle, Arlan, Guinaifen, and Hook. Jiaoqiu's signature Light Cone, "Those Many Springs," will debut.

Huohuo's "Night of Fright" and Sparkle's "Earthly Escapade" Light Cones will also make a comeback.

Abundant Events and Features

Version 2.4 includes:

  • A new Trailblaze Continuance Mission.
  • Yunli's Companion Mission.
  • The Gift of Odyssey check-in event, rewarding players with 10 Special Star Rail Passes.
  • The "Saga of Primaveral Blade" event, where players train March 7th with Yanqing and Yunli for a duel against the IPC's Scott. Rewards include Stellar Jade, Self-Modeling Resin, a new chat box style, Tracks of Destiny, and March 7th's Eidolon.
  • The Garden of Plenty and Planar Fissure events offer double drops for Golden and Crimson Calyx and Planar Ornaments.
