Honkai: Star Rail Chart Shows Most Used Characters for Apocalyptic Shadow

A fan-made Honkai: Star Rail chart reveals characters with the highest usage rate in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode. Honkai: Star Rail has recently introduced a new gameplay mode, Apocalyptic Shadow, which functions similarly to Pure Fiction and Forgotten Hall. It sets players against enemies with some powerful traits, emphasizing the importance of diverse strategies. Character requirements and boss traits add to the mode's difficulty, requiring Trailblazers to set up well-rounded teams.

Apocalyptic Shadow is the newest combat mode within Honkai: Star Rail, which runs alongside Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos. It's unlocked after completing the Grim Film of Finality mission in Penacony's Dreamflux Reef. As of version 2.3, this permanent mode will give Xueyi to players who clear the first two stages successfully. In the upcoming versions, Apocalyptic Shadow will change its enemy lineup and receive balance changes.

A new Honkai: Star Rail chart, shared by LvlUrArti on Reddit, reveals the most used characters in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode. With an impressive 89.31% rate, Ruan Mei ranks first among five-star units. She is followed by Acheron and Firefly, who have 74.79% and 58.49% usage rates, respectively. Honkai: Star Rail's Fu Xuan, on the other hand, secures fourth place on the list with 56.75%.

Silver Wolf, Sparkle, Aventurine, and Black Swan are among the most popular units in Honkai: Star Rail's Apocalyptic Shadow. As for four-star characters, Gallagher (65.14%) and Pela (37.74%) have the highest usage rates in the combat mode.

According to the chart, the highest-scoring team in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode features Honkai: Star Rail's Firefly, Ruan Mei, Trailblazer, and Gallagher. Interestingly, some four-star units like Xueyi and Sushang are among the highest-scoring characters.

Speaking of Apocalyptic Shadow, a recent Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed that version 2.5 will add a new boss, Phantylia the Undying, to the combat mode later this year. For the unaware, Phantylia the Undying is the boss players find in Xianzhou Lufou. It's a three-phase enemy that summons lotuses and inflicts debuffs on Trailblazers. In each phase of the fight, Phantylia deals a different type of damage (Wind, Lightning, and Imaginary), and its lotuses receive new abilities.

Honkai: Star Rail players can now complete the Apocalyptic Shadow mode to earn up to 800 Stellar Jades, Refined Aether, Traveler's Guide, Lucent Afterglow, and Lost Crystal. These items are used to buy Rail Passes, level up relics, and unlock new Light Cones at the Manifest Shop.
