In Freedom Wars Remastered, players have numerous ways to customize their loadout for operations. While larger components like weapons and Thrones are swapped out less frequently, Combat Items are consumable resources that offer a variety of uses and are typically limited in quantity.
You'll receive additional combat items as rewards for completing operations, though these might not always suffice for subsequent missions. At the start of the game, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Here’s how you can overcome these challenges.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To increase the number of Combat Items you can equip, you'll need to acquire the appropriate Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section within the Entitlements and move one tab to the right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Subsequent permits below this will allow you to equip up to four Combat Items.
These story-based permits become available quickly, and you can purchase all four by reaching CODE level 3. Note that the next permit won't appear until after you've bought the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll be able to use the entire stack you have at the beginning of the Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can equip one Combat Item, which can be used at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock access to The Warren, a HUB area. Here, along the upper story on the right side, you'll find a store called Zakka. While Zakka offers weapons, you can also select the "Buy Items" option to access lists of Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions include items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies encompass items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.
Combat Items are sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can be expensive in terms of Entitlement Points. Therefore, if you find yourself needing many Medkits, consider donating old resources. While operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this method isn't reliable for farming due to the time investment and the potential to use more items than you gain.
