Adventure Time Returns With New Sequel Comic in April 2025

Oni Press is bringing back the magic of Adventure Time with a new monthly comic book series launching in April 2025! This collaboration with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products promises a continuation of Finn and Jake's escapades in the Land of Ooo, picking up after the animated series finale.

The first story arc, "Best of Buds," is written by Nick Winn and features interior art by Winn and Derek Ballard. Winn expressed his excitement about revisiting the Land of Ooo, highlighting the show's unique blend of humor and emotional depth. Series editor Megan Brown echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the comic's commitment to friendship, heart, and new challenges for Finn and Jake. She also noted that "Best of Buds" serves as an ideal entry point for new readers while offering a satisfying return for longtime fans.
