Fortnite: Expert Weapon Quests Simplified

This Fortnite Hunters guide details Weapon Expertise Quests, a new feature rewarding players with XP and access to Legendary weapons. These quests, tied to specific NPCs, involve completing five-stage challenges. Completing a quest unlocks a Legendary weapon from that NPC.

Updated January 14, 2025, to include the newly added Melee Expertise Quests.

Weapon Expertise Quests Explained

Weapon Expertise Quests are unique to Fortnite Hunters. The initial quest introduces the concept, requiring interaction with Hope, Ruji, or Agent Jones regarding Expertise and weapon sales. Each quest features five challenges. Completion unlocks a Legendary weapon. Additional quests allow purchasing Oni Masks from Daigo and the Typhoon Blade from Kendo. These quests are tracked in the main lobby or in-game Quests tab.

Weapon Expertise Quest Rewards Completing quests is time-consuming but rewarding. Here's a summary of available Legendary weapons:
