This digital application provides swift access to the scholarly works and biographies of prominent figures within a specific religious sect.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Technological advancements have become integral to modern life. To ensure the preservation and accessibility of its rich scholarly heritage, this application offers a modern platform for disseminating knowledge to a wider audience. The Heritage Revival Center at the al-Abbas's shrines houses a significant collection of works that, despite individual efforts to publish certain volumes, has not received the comprehensive attention it deserves.
This application presents this valuable collection in a user-friendly digital format, designed to serve both specialists and those interested in religious heritage. It provides easy access to the biographies of the sect's scholars and their contributions, facilitating research and study.
The application offers the book in three formats:
- A text-based format closely mirroring the original publication.
- A digital replica of the printed book.
- A unique feature: a digitized version of the author's handwritten manuscript. This allows users to verify any suspected typographical errors, a crucial element given the lack of comprehensive proofreading of previous editions.
This application offers several key advantages for researchers:
- Independent access to each of the three book versions.
- Comprehensive search capabilities (basic and advanced) across the entire encyclopedia or specific sections.
- Text copying and sharing functionality.
- Printing capabilities for all three formats.
- Simultaneous viewing of the text and printed versions, with adjustable zoom and synchronized page navigation.
- Comprehensive indices of translators (both volume-specific and encyclopedia-wide), with searchable functionality.
- Ability to bookmark pages (across all three formats).
- Note-taking and commenting capabilities for each page (across all three formats).
In conclusion, we express our gratitude to all who contributed to this project, including the meticulous work of Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani (may Allah have mercy on him) in typesetting and printing, those who preserved the handwritten manuscript, and the team who developed this application. May Allah reward them all abundantly.
