The app serves as an innovative replacement for the lead in the game Mafia, designed for groups ranging from 5 to 40 participants. If you enjoy playing Mafia with friends but often lack a professional moderator, this app is the perfect solution for you.
To get the most out of the app, ensure your device is equipped with a speaker, and a larger screen size is recommended for an enhanced gaming experience. The app vocalizes the different stages of the game and prompts actions by alerting players when it's their turn to wake up. In larger groups, the first eliminated player can assist the master by using the device to indicate which players are targeted, thereby eliminating any chance of errors from the lead. The inclusion of background music and additional sound effects adds a fresh and appealing twist to the familiar game. In addition to the classic roles of mafia and civilians, the game introduces the following characters:
- Doctor
- Sheriff
- Maniac
- Don
- Putana
- Immortal
- Dvuliky
The app supports two modes for distributing roles:
First Mode: Players receive their roles directly from the device as it is passed around the group.
Second Mode: Players use traditional playing cards or special Mafia cards. During the game, the device requires the first eliminated player to confirm the roles of all active players.
Voting in the game can be conducted in two ways:
First Mode: Players are voted on sequentially. Each player receives votes from others, and once voting is complete for one player, the next is put up for vote. Every player votes once, with the first player chosen randomly.
Second Mode: Players vote in a queue for any player they choose. Each player votes once, and the first vote is randomly assigned.
The app offers three distinct game modes:
Open Mode: The roles of eliminated players are revealed to all participants.
Closed Mode: The roles of eliminated players remain undisclosed. At night, the master announces the role that should wake up, but since the player is out, the master simulates their actions at an arbitrary time interval.
Semi-Closed Mode: Only the roles of players eliminated by voting are disclosed. The roles of those killed at night are kept secret, and the master continues to simulate their night-time activities.
