Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions battle Jas's "Zero" plan, a catastrophic threat to existence itself. The game's compelling narrative and unique mechanics create an immersive experience. The Tachyon Medal, a crucial late-game item, is central to a challenging, extended side quest. This guide details its acquisition and utilization.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item obtained before the final boss encounter. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, situated in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, confront God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, reducing health by 90%. Strategic use of Kina's healing abilities is crucial. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict substantial damage, is also recommended.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory through the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest on your right; it contains the Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These three stars appear in eight locations, the initial two being part of the main storyline:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. Upon their final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests beneath the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Opening all chests reveals a glowing door, prompting the use of the Tachyon Medal to reverse time, initiating NG+. All progress, including levels, items, and equipment, carries over. While enemy strength increases, this poses minimal challenge, particularly for players who have completed all side quests. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing a renewed journey to safeguard the Human Realm.
