SketchPad is the ultimate on-the-go tool for sketching, doodling, or even just scribbling. Let your imagination soar and unleash your creativity with SketchPad. Whether you want to draw, illustrate, sketch, doodle, or scribble, the choice is entirely yours.
This app is incredibly lightweight, with a download size of just 5 MB, making it perfect for your mobile device. SketchPad offers a simple way to transform your screen into a canvas without any fuss. Unlike most other drawing apps, SketchPad keeps it clean and straightforward - it's just you and your canvas.
You can start sketching almost immediately after installing the app, with no setup required. It's really that simple.
Features:
• A simple and intuitive user interface
• No ads to distract you
• No in-app purchases, keeping your experience pure and uninterrupted
• Customizable brush width with instant preview, allowing you to create bold strokes and fine details
• Multiple color selection methods: Palette, Spectrum, and RGB Sliders
• Unlimited undo/redo capabilities, because it's okay to make mistakes (limited by device capabilities)
• Optional "Shake to Clear" feature - just shake your device to clear the canvas (requires accelerometer)
• Export your work as PNG or JPEG images
• Directly share images from SketchPad, which automatically exports them to your device
The "Shake to Clear" feature is handy for casual scribbling to pass the time, but avoid using it on the bus or during sudden movements if you're doing serious sketching.
SketchPad works seamlessly offline, though sharing your sketches with others may require a network connection. The app needs Storage permission only to save your sketches to your device, and I assure you, your precious files are safe with me.
By default, exported images are saved to "/Pictures/SketchPad/". You can change the storage path to a directory of your choice in the settings to suit your needs. Saving sketches to "/DCIM/Camera/" should make them appear in most gallery apps. However, on Android 10 and later versions, due to changes in storage management, all pictures are saved to "/Android/data/com.kanishka_developer.SketchPad/files/Pictures", regardless of the setting.
The focus of the SketchPad Project has always been on enhancing the User Experience. I encourage you to share your feedback or just drop by to say "hi" in the Kaffeine Community Discord server at https://discord.gg/dBDfUQk or email me at [email protected]. :)
