Zenless Zone Zero, a new free live-service action RPG from miHoYo, the creators of popular RPG gacha games Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail (HSR), has made waves on the PlayStation platform. Known for dominating the gacha and mobile game scene, miHoYo has now expanded its presence with Zenless Zone Zero's multiplatform launch.

The game continues to perform well, recently securing the #10 spot in the list of most popular PlayStation games, joining the ranks of titles like Elden Ring and Minecraft. This is according to data from media company Circana, in their " US Player Engagement Tracker Top 10 Titles" report posted yesterday. As noted by the company, the games are ranked based on weekly user engagement but factor playtime stats were not factored in.

Released on July 4th, Zenless Zone Zero quickly gained traction, landing the #12 spot on the PS5 Top 40 most-played games chart during its launch week. While it hasn't yet surpassed miHoYo’s other titles in terms of overall success and profitability, Zenless Zone Zero stands alongside established giants such as Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Roblox. On the Epic Games platform, Zenless Zone Zero currently has a 4.5/5 star rating based on player reviews, with players citing the game's great boss battles and storytelling as its strong points.
