Xbox Game Pass Welcomes New Titles in Early 2025
Microsoft has unveiled its first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for January 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing departures. This follows earlier Microsoft announcements regarding changes to the service, including age restrictions and revised reward systems.
The January lineup includes a mix of genres and access levels. Seven games are joining the service, starting with Road 96 (available January 7th across all tiers), a title previously featured on Game Pass. Several other games will launch on January 8th: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills. UFC 5 and Diablo will arrive on January 14th, but with limited access. Diablo will be exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate-only addition.
New Games:
- Road 96 (January 7th - All Tiers)

- Diablo (January 14th - Ultimate & PC Game Pass)
Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks are available, including in-game items for Apex Legends, First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Departing Games (January 15th):
Several titles are leaving the service on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.
