This optional quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Nightmare Echo is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's storm-ravaged ruins. Prepare your strongest Resonators; this is a significant undertaking.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest involves extensive combat. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, activating the broken Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Charge three steles at designated locations.
- Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Charging the Steles
The Discipline Steles on the marked altars charge while standing on the central glowing circle. Enemies interrupting this process will slow progress, so eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from an altar will cause its energy to deplete.
Utilize the 2.0 update's enhanced elemental damage and status effects to your advantage.
For the third stele set, position them before enemy spawns. If grabbing the broken steles proves difficult, adjust your character and camera angle until a button prompt appears.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your team's strongest Resonators to attack the Lumiscale Construct after returning to the starting area. A cutscene will initiate upon significantly reducing its health, prompting you to pursue it deeper into the ruins.
The environment becomes more hazardous during the chase. Beware of falling debris and lightning, eliminating all enemies encountered. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits.
The Dragon of Dirge
This formidable enemy can easily stunlock or one-shot characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, aiming for quick stuns. The optimal strategy is to wait for its major attacks and then immediately stun it.
Defeating the dragon completes the quest, unlocking access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
