Pokémon GO's newest additions keep trainers busy! Following Fidough's arrival, Shroodle is joining the Pokémon GO roster on January 15th, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. However, unlike many Pokémon, it won't be a straightforward wild encounter.
Shroodle's Debut and Shiny Status
The Toxic Mouse Pokémon, Shroodle, originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, makes its Pokémon GO debut during the Fashion Week event. While available after the event concludes, a Shiny Shroodle won't be available at launch. Its Shiny variant will likely appear in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-types or Team GO Rocket.
Catching Shroodle: Hatching from 12KM Eggs
Shroodle isn't found in the wild; instead, it hatches from 12KM Eggs. These eggs, obtainable starting January 15th at 12 AM local time, will have a chance to contain Shroodle. While more frequent during the Fashion Week event, it should remain in the 12KM egg pool afterward.
Acquiring 12KM Eggs
To obtain the necessary 12KM Eggs, trainers must defeat Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week event is ideal for stocking up on these eggs due to the increased Team GO Rocket presence and readily available Rocket Radars. However, battling GO Rocket Grunts to encounter these leaders is always an option.
Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai
Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also arrives on January 15th. Unlike Shroodle, it's neither a wild spawn nor found in eggs. Evolution is the only method to obtain Grafaiai, requiring 50 Shroodle Candy. Walk your Shroodle as a buddy or hatch multiple to gather the necessary Candy.
Pokémon GO is currently available.
