Unlocking Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren: A Guide to Obtaining This Stunning World of Warcraft Mount

Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, a magnificent stormcrow mount, awaits those willing to brave the challenges of Siren Isle. While not the first raven mount in WoW, its association with the Siren Isle and the dynamic Storm events makes it a highly sought-after prize. This guide details the steps to acquire this impressive flying mount.

Gathering the Runekeys:

The acquisition of Thrayir hinges on collecting five unique Runekeys:

  • Whirling Runekey: This key drops from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn found in the Forgotten Vault's southernmost chamber only during a Storm event.

  • Torrential Runekey: Obtain seven Torrential Fragments by defeating enemies across Siren Isle during a Storm phase.

  • Thunderous Runekey: Collect five Thunderous Fragments from chests located throughout Siren Isle. Unlike the other fragments, these chests aren't restricted to Storm areas.

  • Cyclonic Runekey: This key is obtained through fishing in Siren Isle waters during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in Deadfin Mire.

  • Turbulent Runekey: Requires locating three Turbulent Fragments at specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:

    • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
    • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole, where a cowering ghost resides.
    • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave, from a ghost offering the fragment.

The Final Ritual:

With all five Runekeys in hand, return to the Forgotten Vault during the Seafury Tempest phase. Attempting the ritual during other phases will be unsuccessful. Inside the Vault's eastern chamber, you'll find Thrayir's body on a platform with five runestones. Insert the corresponding Runekeys, triggering the quest, "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete the quest to claim your magnificent new mount!
