Is There Third-Person Mode in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? Answered

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gameplay: A First-Person Perspective Only

Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a fully immersive first-person experience. The question many players have is: does it include a third-person mode? The short answer is no.

The game's developers intentionally chose a first-person perspective to enhance immersion. This design choice allows players to fully inhabit the role of Henry, experiencing the game world from his unique viewpoint. While the modding community might eventually create a third-person mod, the base game is exclusively first-person.

While exploring the world is strictly first-person, Henry's character model is visible during cutscenes and conversations with NPCs. The camera will shift between Henry and the person he's interacting with, showcasing his appearance, which changes based on dirt accumulation and equipped gear.

The developers have not indicated any plans to add a third-person mode. Therefore, players should expect a first-person-only experience.

This clarifies the lack of a third-person option in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For additional game tips and information, including optimal perk choices and romance options, check out The Escapist.
