Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, allowing players to tailor their loadout to their preferred combat style. Beyond standard firearms, unique weapon variants with enhanced stats and modifications exist, one of which is the Cavalier sniper rifle. This unique weapon, featuring a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, excels in close-to-medium range engagements. Here's how to acquire it.

Obtaining the Cavalier Sniper Rifle

The Cavalier is located within the Duga base, specifically in a warehouse adjacent to a greenhouse near the Military Unit. You might already be familiar with this area if you've previously retrieved the Journalist stash. Use the secondary entrance for easier access.

Accessing the Warehouse

Upon entering Duga, navigate towards the Military Unit (marked on your map). Instead of entering the building, circumvent it to reach the greenhouse at the rear. Be wary of two Pseudogiants patrolling the area; they're aggressive and will attack on sight. Proceed cautiously to avoid confrontation.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll enter the warehouse. Prepare for a rodent infestation; numerous rats will swarm upon entry. Utilize the elevated platforms at the warehouse's rear for cover and consider using a grenade to eliminate the threat quickly.

Retrieving the Cavalier

After clearing the rats, focus on the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll notice yellow-painted wooden boards. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

After acquiring the Cavalier, you can enhance its capabilities by visiting Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy, further boosted by upgrades and modifications, make it a formidable weapon, particularly for players who prefer red-dot sights over traditional scopes for close-to-medium range combat.
