Split Fiction will be the first Hazelight game with crossplay support

Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its innovative approach to cooperative gaming. One of their unique selling points is the Friend's Pass system, which allows two players to enjoy the game together even if only one has purchased it. This feature, while not widely adopted by others, has helped Hazelight carve a distinct niche for itself. However, a notable limitation in their previous titles was the absence of crossplay, which seemed like a perfect match for their co-op focused games.

Exciting news for fans: Hazelight's upcoming game, Split Fiction, will indeed feature crossplay, officially confirmed by the developers. The Friend's Pass system returns, allowing two players to dive into the experience with just one copy of the game, though both will need an EA account to play.

Adding to the anticipation, Hazelight has also announced a demo version of Split Fiction. This demo not only lets players experience the game firsthand but also allows them to carry over their progress to the full version upon purchase.

Split Fiction is set to take players on a journey through a range of settings, all while focusing on the essence of human relationships—simple yet profound. Mark your calendars for the game's release on March 6, when it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
