This latest patent, filed in June 2024 and published January 2nd, 2025, details a gun-like attachment that seamlessly integrates with the DualSense. The attachment, as depicted in patent figures 3, 14, and 15, clips onto the DualSense's base. Held sideways, the space between the R1 and R2 buttons functions as a realistic aiming sight, enhancing immersion in FPS and action-adventure titles.
