The Sims 4 celebrates 25 years of immersive gameplay with its newest expansion pack: "The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies." Launching March 6th, 2025, this pack lets Sims transform their passions into profitable ventures.
This expansion builds upon previous content, offering cross-pack compatibility for enhanced gameplay. Players can now open various businesses, including:
- Pet Cafés (Cats & Dogs EP)
- Karaoke Bars (City Living EP)
- Dance Clubs/Arcades (Get Together EP)
- Acting Schools (Get Famous EP)
- Bowling Alleys (Bowling Night SP)
- Spas (Spa Day GP)
- Laundromats (Laundry Day SP)
New skills are also introduced:
- Tattooing: Design and apply custom tattoos in a player-owned studio. Skill progression unlocks more intricate designs.
- Pottery: Craft and sell unique clay creations using a pottery wheel and kiln.
A novel Business Perk system adds strategic depth. Choose a business alignment:
- Dreamer: Prioritize customer satisfaction over profit.
- Schemer: Focus on maximizing profit, even if it means cutting corners.
- Neutral: Strive for a balance between profit and customer happiness.
Each alignment offers unique gameplay and interactions.
The expansion also introduces Nordhaven, a vibrant new location with an artsy atmosphere and numerous business opportunities.
