Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC, the Emerald Diorama, which is a unique crossover with Square Enix’s iconic fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This marks the game's most significant update to date, infusing it with JRPG elements that fans will adore.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a captivating new stage designed like a mini world map, offering players a world-hopping experience. This update brings over a dozen new characters into the fray, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs, adding depth and variety to the gameplay.
With more than 16 new weapons and a novel Glimmer system, players can now randomly acquire new skills during their runs, enhancing the strategic aspect of the game. The soundtrack gets an upgrade too, with nine new music tracks that complement the JRPG atmosphere.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players should head to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant. By purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, you can gradually unlock the DLC's content. Additionally, the update introduces character parties, allowing you to form your own mini squad for a more personalized gaming experience.
The DLC also comes with two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is designed for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" enriches the new DLC with additional content.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Accompanying the Emerald Diorama, Vampire Survivors has released another free update called The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces a new character, Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that speeds up the game.
Players can unlock various achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update. A useful tip for players: avoid killing anything for the first minute in The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis further unlocks Gazebo, adding an exciting new layer to your gameplay.
You can download Vampire Survivors from the Google Play Store and enjoy both the free Emerald Diorama DLC and The Coop update. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
