Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, after multiple postponements (2023 and then 2024), is now projected to launch in 2026.
Sad Cat Studios, the developers behind Replaced, previously attributed the delays to the game's uniquely challenging development process, announcing a 2025 release date earlier this year. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, driven by the considerable anticipation surrounding the game.
First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 showcase, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat has yet to officially address this latest delay, they have maintained communication with fans, releasing combat footage and a mini-game demonstration this past summer.
