A Slithery Surprise: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Snakelike Mass Outbreak
Trainers, get ready! A special Mass Outbreak event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is underway, celebrating the Year of the Snake with increased Shiny Pokémon encounter rates. This limited-time event, featuring Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper, runs until January 12th.
The event follows the recent Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid, a fitting end to the Year of the Dragon. Now, with the Year of the Snake upon us, players have a new opportunity to add some serpentine sparkle to their collections.
This Snakelike Mass Outbreak, confirmed by Serebii.net, began January 9th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time and ends January 12th at 6:59 PM Eastern Time. Expect to find Silicobra across all land areas of Paldea, Ekans in Kitakami, and Seviper in the Terarium. Pokémon levels will range from 10 to 65, depending on your game progress. Remember to connect to the internet, access the Poke Portal via the in-game menu, and select "Get Poke Portal News" to activate the event.
