Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team launches on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service August 9, as announced today. This classic Pokémon spin-off will be accessible via the Expansion Pack, which features Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and Sega Genesis titles.
Globally released for the Game Boy Advance in 2006, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a roguelike spin-off where players become a Pokémon. It launched alongside a Blue Rescue Team version for the Nintendo DS and received a Switch remake in 2020 as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX.

As part of the new Mega Multiplayer Festival, which runs until September 8, purchasing a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership from the eShop or My Nintendo Store will grant an extra two months of membership for free.
