Wuthering Waves Version 2.0: New Region, Console Launch, and Pre-Order Rewards

Kuro Games' action-packed RPG, Wuthering Waves, is gearing up for its biggest update yet! Hot on the heels of the exciting Version 1.4 update, which introduced the Somnoire: Illusive Realms mode and two new characters, Version 2.0 is set to launch January 2nd across all platforms. Yes, that includes PlayStation 5! This marks the game's highly anticipated console debut.

The Version 1.4 update has kept players engaged, and the recent nomination for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024 only adds to the excitement. Version 2.0 promises to be even bigger, introducing a significant expansion to the game's world.

The game's captivating combat, rich setting, and compelling narrative have already won over many fans. Set on the planet Solaris-3, divided into six nations (Huanglong, New Federation, and Rinascita being known so far), the story currently unfolds in Huanglong. However, this chapter is nearing its conclusion.

Version 2.0 will introduce Rinascita as a brand-new playable region, significantly expanding the storyline and gameplay. Expect Version 1.4 and subsequent updates to conclude the Huanglong arc before the shift to this new area.
