Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Fear not! A second chance to hunt arrives in early February, bringing new monsters and content.
New Monster, New Beta
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second Open Beta Test, running in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th. Available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this beta adds the Gypceros, a familiar foe from previous Monster Hunter titles.
Carryover and Rewards
Character data from the first beta carries over to this one and, ultimately, the full game (though progress won't). Participants earn in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a helpful bonus item pack.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, acknowledging player requests for another opportunity to experience the game. While recent pre-launch improvements won't be included in this beta, the team is committed to delivering a polished final product.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Get ready to hunt!
