Marvel Contest of Champions' Murderworld event has arrived, bringing a thrilling array of new content! Running until August 7th, this update includes the X-Magica Showcase and the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, alongside essential bug fixes and balance adjustments.

Murderworld: A Deadly Theme Park Experience

Arcade, the master of deadly entertainment, has unleashed his twisted theme parks within The Contest. These Murderworlds offer a unique blend of thrilling amusement and brutal annihilation. Arcade's goal? To achieve the highest body count possible. Players must outsmart Arcade's deadly games, perhaps even collaborating to overcome his lethal carnival.

Spotlight on New Champions: Patriot and The Leader

The Raft, Battlerealm's maximum-security prison, is in lockdown due to a gamma radiation incident. The Summoner intervenes, encountering Patriot, who finds himself in dire straits. Meanwhile, The Leader's gamma-enhanced intellect manipulates both allies and enemies with his mind control.

Patriot, aka Eli Bradley, grandson of the original Super Soldier, joins the fight on July 18th. A founding member of the Young Avengers, he carries a powerful legacy.

On the villainous side, The Leader (Samuel Sterns), a former chemical plant worker, underwent a gamma-induced transformation, becoming a super-genius and the Hulk's arch-nemesis. He enters the fray on August 1st.
