Lost in the Shadows:

The chilling survival horror, Forgotten Memories, returns with a remastered edition, now available on Android! Following a period of review with Google Play, Forgotten Memories: Remastered Edition is finally accessible to Android users, having launched on iOS last month.

The Story

Play as Rose Hawkins, a police detective investigating a perplexing case that takes a terrifying turn. Rose awakens in a mysterious, unsettling location where she encounters Noah, a woman shrouded in as much mystery as the case itself. A pact is formed, potentially offering a path to solving the enigma, but their alliance holds deeper, unforeseen implications.

What's New in the Remastered Edition?

This remastered edition delivers a classic 90's Silent Hill-esque horror experience, enhanced with updated features. Fear is amplified through improved mechanics, high-resolution graphics boasting HDR lighting and dynamic shadows, and a fully remastered audio experience featuring new voice acting and music.

Gameplay improvements include enhanced combat, refined interactions, and a new checkpoint-based save system. A challenging "Insane" mode and additional achievements add further replayability. Best of all, there are no in-app purchases.

The Android Delay

Psychose Interactive's initial submission to Google Play was rejected due to the remastered graphics; Google deemed the improved realism of the game's mannequins a violation of content guidelines. Following adjustments to mannequin poses and the addition of clothing, the developers successfully resolved the issue. A significant December update, featuring a Christmas theme and a new game mode, is already in the works.
