Genshin Impact is set to roll out its much-anticipated update, Version 5.5, dubbed "Day of the Flame's Return," on March 26th. This update promises to intensify the Natlan region with exciting new content and features. One of the most eagerly awaited additions is the introduction of controller support for Android devices. If you're curious about which controllers will be compatible, you can find all the details here.
What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?
Players will venture into the southwestern part of Natlan, where they'll encounter a new tribe, a colossal volcano, and fresh characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan is steeped in ancient secrets and houses a sacred city that has slumbered for ages. As you explore, you'll delve into the mysteries of the "Flamelord’s Blessing" and the enigma of the Little One, all while navigating the rumbling magma below. You'll also meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that celebrates strength through challenging physical trials.
Two new characters are set to join the game in Version 5.5: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique support skill that restores Phlogiston after consuming food, enhancing her utility outside of combat. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm user and one of Natlan’s six heroes, combines offensive capabilities with support. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Iansan gains the Warming Up effect, enabling her to provide continuous healing.
During the first phase of Version 5.5’s Event Wishes, players can pull for Varesa and Iansan, alongside reruns for Xianyun, Xilonen, and Venti. Dive into the excitement of these new additions below.
The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback
In this update, you'll work alongside Mavuika, Ifa, and other allies from Natlan to aid a sick Saurian. Additionally, a new mini-game, "Saurian Treasure Seeker," challenges you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. Completing this event grants you the opportunity to invite Ororon for free.
On the combat side, a formidable new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this expansive update when it launches.
