Unlocking Ochkanatlan and its Secrets in Genshin Impact
Ochkanatlan, a cursed land in Genshin Impact, presents Travelers with a challenging exploration alongside Bona, a Flower-Feather Clan adventurer seeking the Jade of Return. Before embarking on this journey, however, players must first unlock the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven.
Unlocking the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven
To unlock the Statue of the Seven and access the Ochkanatlan region, follow these steps:
- Teleport to the Flower-Feather Clan's northern waypoint.
- Transform into a Qucusaurus.
- Fly north towards the tower.
- Navigate to the tower's southeast side.
- Enter the Phlogiston Wind Tunnel as a Qucusaurus.
- Fly towards the open window at the tower's peak.
- Release your Qucusaurus form.
- Enter the tower.
- Ascend the stairs.
- Activate the mechanism at the top of the stairs.
- Await the completion of the cutscene.
- Interact with the Statue of the Seven to unlock it as a waypoint.
Unlocking the statue reveals all waypoints on the map and initiates the "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest.
Exploring the Vucub Caquix Tower
The "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest continues within the Vucub Caquix Tower. To progress:
- Locate the Vucub Caquix Tower north of the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven.
- Climb the stairs and enter the tower.
- Become an Iktomisaurus.
- Use the Iktomisaurus's scan ability on the Nightspirit Graffiti to remove a blue block.
- Activate the lever to remove a barrier.
- Descend to the lower floor and proceed to the northwestern room.
- Activate the lift.
- Scan the Nightspirit Graffiti in the room behind the lift using the Iktomisaurus's ability.
- Position the block under the stuck door.
- Retrieve the Common Chest.
- Proceed past the gate.
- Scan the Nightspirit Graffiti beyond the gate.
- Place the block under the opened gate.
- Operate the lever.
- Continue beyond the gates.
Upon completion, a cutscene will unfold, focusing on Bona's search for Cocouik, a mysterious companion capable of neutralizing the Abyss's corrosive effects.
