Hollow Knight: Silksong No-Show at Gamescom 2024Silksong Skips Gamescom ONL, Confirms Geoff Keighley
Disappointment Swept through the Hollow Knight community yesterday when Gamescom producer Geoff Keighley confirmed on Twitter(X) that Silksong, the highly anticipated sequel in the Hollow Knight series, would not be making an appearance at the event’s Opening Night Live (ONL).
Hope had flared among fans after Keighley revealed the initial lineup for the show, teasing additional unannounced titles with a " More" to the list. This sparked speculation that a long-awaited update on Silksong, after being radio silent for more than a year, might finally arrive.
However, these hopes were dashed when Keighley later took to Twitter(X) to definitively rule out Silksong’s presence. "Just to get this out of the way, no Silksong on Tuesday at ONL," the producer said. He did assure fans that Team Cherry is still hard at work on the game.
Despite the disappointment over the lack of Silksong news, Keighley did offer something to look forward to with a lineup that includes titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, MARVEL Rivals, and more!
