Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025
Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the RTX 50 series GPUs, featuring groundbreaking DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation, boosting FPS in 75 games. Initially exclusive to the RTX 50 series, this feature will significantly enhance performance in titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Marvel Rivals.
The Blackwell architecture powering the RTX 50 series builds upon the Ada Lovelace architecture, refining DLSS and introducing Multi-Frame Generation for a dramatic FPS increase compared to its predecessor. The flagship RTX 5090, boasting 32GB of GDDR7 memory, will retail at $1,999. Other models include the RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549).
Nvidia highlighted the immediate DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation support in 75 games and applications upon the RTX 50 series launch. A striking example: Cyberpunk 2077, running below 30 FPS with full ray tracing enabled on the RTX 5090 without DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, jumps to 236 FPS with these features activated.
