The odds of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco are significantly boosted to 1 in 25, compared to the usual 1 in 512 chance in regular encounters. This increased probability makes Community Days the prime time to add a Shiny Fuecoco to your collection. With enough persistence, you're likely to encounter a Shiny within the event's timeframe.
Fuecoco’s Evolutions in Pokemon GO

Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor and then Skeledirge, requiring 25 and 100 Fuecoco Candies respectively. Both evolutions are already part of the game, but the Community Day offers a special chance to obtain a Skeledirge with an exclusive move.
Skeledirge Featured Attack
Evolving a Fuecoco into Crocalor during the Community Day window, from March 8 until a week later, will result in a Skeledirge that knows the Charged Attack, Blast Burn, which is not normally part of its standard moveset.
Torch Song Update
Additionally, Skeledirge will have the opportunity to learn Torch Song, a valuable Charged Attack that enhances its Attack stat by one stage while inflicting damage during Pokemon GO battles.
Community Day Event Bonuses
During the Fuecoco Community Day and until 10:00 PM on March 8, players can enjoy the following bonuses:
- 300% more Stardust from catches
- Double Candy from catches
- Double chance for Trainers Level 31 and up to receive XL Candy from catches
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last three hours
- Incenses activated during the event will last three hours
- A surprise feature when taking snapshots
- The ability to make two Special Trades per day instead of one
- 50% less Stardust required for trades
