Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline, you'll need to locate the Cell Garden within your Panopticon. This location subsequently serves as a safe haven for resource farming, offering a less hazardous alternative to standard operations.

Multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, each accessed using a consistent method regardless of your current level. This guide details how to locate any Cell Garden and explains its resource-gathering mechanics.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. To begin, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the block's left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interacting with this room transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that finally unlocks the Cell Garden.

This access method remains consistent across all levels. Acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-main quest completion, access to any Cell Garden becomes unrestricted, but obtaining the Entitlement is highly recommended.

Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The main story's Cell Garden encounter differs from subsequent visits. Here's how it operates outside the main mission:

  • A one-minute time limit is imposed.
  • The room's layout is randomized each visit.
  • Eight resources, depicted as small green orbs, are scattered throughout.

The Window on Liberty offers Entitlements to extend your Cell Garden time. Some layouts present puzzles that may increase the difficulty. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute limit, unlocks at CODE level 3.
