This isn't Square Enix's first foray into mobile Final Fantasy games. Past attempts, however, have yielded mixed results. While Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis received a lukewarm reception, Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia ultimately shut down.
