The Adventure Week event is back in Pokémon GO for 2024, and it’s packed with exciting in-game rewards. There’s a lot of action to look forward to, after wrapping up July’s events.What’s In Store?The Adventure Week in Pokémon GO starts on Friday, August 2nd at 10 am and runs until Monday, August 12th. The event will focus on Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon. You’ll get plenty of opportunities to catch these tough and ancient Pokémon in the wild. You can hatch them from 7 km Eggs and encounter them through themed Field Research tasks.One of the highlights this year is the increased chance to encounter Shiny Pokémon like Aerodactyl. Other Rock-type Pokémon such as Diglett and Bunnelby will also appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re really lucky, you might stumble upon an Aerodactyl while you’re out and about.The 7 km Eggs are also something to be excited about. They will be hatching Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. Completing themed Field Research tasks can lead to encounters with these Pokémon as well, along with rewards like Mega Energy for Aerodactyl.Spinning PokéStops during Adventure Week will earn you double XP in Pokémon GO, with a whopping five times XP for the first spin of the day. And if you’re into hatching Pokémon, you’ll get double XP for that too.What Else Is New?The Adventure Week will also feature new PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges that reward you with Stardust, encounters, and even more Mega Energy for Aerodactyl. You can also look forward to five-star raids featuring Moltres, Thundurus Incarnate Forme, and Xerneas.And finally, Poplio will be August’s Community Day Pokémon. There’s even a Classic Community Day and a special Pokémon World Championship event lined up.
