Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, now in Steam Early Access. The early access version features the prologue and first chapter, playable with three unique heroes: Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian. Players will also encounter four Vermplings (cooperative companions), utilize the Bloodline Grid skill system, tackle endgame hunts, and upgrade the central hub city. A demo is available on Steam Next Fest until March 3, 2025.
The developers have ambitious plans. Spring updates will add new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, more skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update will introduce multiplayer, alongside further Bloodline Grid and hub city refinements.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, players navigate a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, guiding a legendary warrior to defeat monstrous creatures and confront the Dragonlords. Character progression hinges on growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic Bloodline Grid system for ability customization.
Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
