After the tumultuous launch of Pokémon TCG: Journey Together, I never anticipated it would recover this swiftly. Yet, here we are, with Amazon offering the Elite Trainer Box for $70.31 and the Booster Bundle for $37.97, both at MSRP. These were the very items that scalpers were selling at exorbitant prices just three weeks ago, as if they were made of gold-foil Charizards. Now, they're readily available, in stock, and directly from Amazon. This level of tranquility in the market is something I'm not accustomed to.

The drop in single card prices has been significant, signaling the end of the initial panic-buying frenzy. What remains is a beautifully designed set that's fun to open and now accessible to everyone. This release feels as relaxed as the Stellar Crown launch. It's the perfect time to purchase sealed products, especially if you missed the chaotic launch week and watched TCGPlayer listings plummet in real time, as I did.

This box is packed with value: nine Journey Together booster packs, a full-art foil N’s Zorua, card sleeves, energy, dice, condition markers, and a code card for Live. It also includes a booklet detailing what you might not pull, adding a touch of realism. I view this as a great shelf piece and a project for slow opening. Unpack one pack each night, treating it like a miniature cardboard advent calendar of anticipation.

As for individual cards, the ETB exclusive N’s Zorua isn't too shabby, but the more sought-after cards are finally reaching their expected price points. Lillie’s Clefairy ex SIR remains pricey at $180, though it's less than half its pre-order peak. N’s Zoroark ex is now around $13, and even the stamped version is more affordable than a movie ticket. If you're considering opening sealed products, now is the time when it feels less like a gamble.

This bundle contains six booster packs, nothing more, nothing less. It's perfect for those moments when you just want to tear through packs and imagine you're chasing something special. It's more cost-effective than the ETB, and you're not paying extra for accessories you might already have in abundance.

The market for this set has been in free fall, making it an intriguing purchase now. Salamence ex SIR has dropped from $250 to about $106, and I expect it to stabilize around $100. Iono’s Bellibolt ex, which I thought would be a hit, is now hovering around $8. This isn't great news if you bought in early, but it's excellent if you're just now getting into the game with a Booster Bundle.

I picked up one of these mainly because I had $10 of Amazon credit I forgot about, but it turned out to be a worthwhile purchase. One pack, random blister artwork, ten cards, and a mix of excitement or calm acceptance.

I couldn't resist this set because I'm a fan of quirky acrylic standees and chaotic Pokémon. It comes with six booster packs, a full-art Bellibolt ex, a foil Tadbulb, and some fun extras like a sticker and a display backdrop. Are these necessary? Not really. But did I want them anyway? Absolutely.
Bellibolt’s cards are following the trend of this set's full arts, plummeting in value. The standard full-art Bellibolt ex is now between $7 and $8, and the Special Illustration Rare version is around $80. That's still pricey, but a far cry from the early days when it was priced like a rare Iono alt-art. This set is a fun choice for fans of the character, and I'm happy to pay for the charm now that the market has come back down to earth.
