In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, some quests, like “Under the Straw Hat,” are accessible only after reaching Kuttenberg. Once you're there, you can freely travel between regions and explore new areas. Here's a detailed guide on how to complete the “Under the Straw Hat” quest.
How to Unlock ‘Under the Straw Hat’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
You have two options: head directly to Havel to impress him with your wine knowledge or retrieve Casper’s book from Adleta to learn more about wine. If you choose to meet Havel directly, ensure you're well-dressed and clean. When conversing with Havel, select “Germany,” “Steinberger,” and “It’s missing ginger” as your responses to extract the necessary information. Then, return to Casper with your findings.
Access the Vineyard
Inform Jerome that you've been instructed to report to him. He'll provide you with details about working at the vineyard.
Working at the Vineyard
The incense is located in the wine cellar, accessible through the main building where you met Jerome. Since these areas are restricted even to workers, use a lockpick or steal the keys from Jerome to enter. In the cellar, find a chest and collect all the Sulphur Wicks inside to fulfill the main objective. Additionally, you can grab seedlings for Casper in the main building to increase your reward. Quickly pick up five seedlings from across the building and leave, as this is considered trespassing.
If you decide to work, meet Jerome at the end of the day to collect your pay. Otherwise, return to Casper with the wicks and, if you collected them, the seedlings.
Completing these tasks will successfully conclude both the “Under the Straw Hat” and “In Vino Veritas” quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, allowing you to proceed to other side quests like “Master Schindel’s Toys.”
*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
