Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces significant quality-of-life improvements for Zombies mode. Key updates include a much-requested co-op pause feature, allowing players in the same party to pause high-round matches. This addresses a long-standing player request.
Another significant addition is AFK Kick Loadout Recovery. Players accidentally kicked for inactivity can now seamlessly rejoin with their original loadouts, preventing frustrating loss of progress.
Further enhancing the player experience, separate HUD presets for Zombies and Multiplayer modes will eliminate the need to constantly readjust settings between game modes. This feature, while delayed, addresses a common user pain point.
Beyond these core improvements, Season 2 also includes enhanced challenge tracking. Players can now manually track up to 10 Calling Card and 10 Camo Challenges per mode, with a helpful "near completion" indicator for easier progress monitoring. These tracked challenges will be visible both in the lobby and in-game.
These additions, alongside the new Tomb map, promise a more streamlined and enjoyable Zombies experience in Black Ops 6. Season 2 launches January 28, 2025.
